Representatives of the two units exchanged cooperation agreement documents.
Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Tuan Hung, Deputy Director in charge of the Southern Institute of Social Sciences and Dr. Truong Cong Hoa, Deputy Director in charge of operations of the National Academy of Public Administration, Ho Chi Minh City Branch, signed a Cooperation Agreement with 6 main contents, including:
Coordinate and closely link in research work, promote survey and investigation activities..., implement training tasks, and scientific research projects presided or implemented by both sides;
Coordinate the organization of transfer and application of scientific results of the parties in the Southern region and the whole country on the basis of expanding the dissemination channel to perform well the functions and tasks of the parties, promote more strongly the research and application of scientific research results into practical life through providing reference data for lecturers, trainees and students; carry out rapid survey and assessment activities to provide policy advice to central and local agencies on issues related to the Southern region; and etc.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Dr. Phan Chi Hieu, President of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences expressed his delight at the cooperation between the two agencies in the Southern region. The signing of the Cooperation Agreement will create opportunities for extensive cooperation, creating a cohesive institution to better perform the functions and tasks of the two agencies in research, policy advice, training participation and transfer of scientific research results in the Southern region.
The two sides have more favorable conditions in sharing and utilizing human resources and experts in research and consulting, contributing to mobilizing "soft" human resources to better perform assigned functions and tasks in the context of streamlining the payroll, the decline in the team of leading experts and the increasing demand for research, policy consulting and application of transfer of results in the Southern region. |
