According to the representative of the Organization Board, the Workshop is organized to build an environment for exchange and sharing of research among scientists, experts and businesses in the food, foodstuff and nutrition industry in Vietnam as well as internationally in the digital transformation period. At the same time, sharing the latest research results, sharing views and academic exchanges between students, lecturers, researchers from universities, colleges, academies, agencies and units in Ho Chi Minh City, nationwide and internationally around issues of nutrition, food, foodstuff, and etc.

It is known that after nearly two months of launching, with contents, such as post-harvest technology, food processing and preservation; Nutrition and health from food; Research methods, new production technology, food quality management and ensuring food security; Impact of food security on Vietnam's economy; Impact of the 4.0 industrial revolution on the development of the food and food industry in Vietnam. The workshop was honored to receive 111 high-quality scientific articles from 50 leading research units nationwide. The participation of nearly 300 prestigious authors will bring breakthrough ideas and solutions to solve current challenges in food safety and ensure sustainable food security.

The workshop is scheduled to take place at 8:00 a.m. on August 30, 2024 (Friday), at Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade (No. 140 Le Trong Tan Street, Tay Thanh Ward, Tan Phu District, Ho Chi Minh City). It promises to be a prestigious forum for experts, scientists, researchers and students to exchange and discuss the latest discoveries and advances in the field of food safety and food security.
