Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry: Promoting cooperation in training and scientific research
On March 4, 2025, Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Saskatchewan (Canada) within the framework of activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of its establishment.


This is considered an important milestone in the University's development strategy for the period of 2025-2030, opening up many opportunities for international study, research and work for students, lecturers and staff.
Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Tat Toan, Rector of Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry, emphasized that the University is responsible for training high-quality and creative human resources, while carrying out research and transferring technological knowledge, meeting the needs of sustainable development of Vietnam's economy and society. With a vision to 2035, the University aims to become an international standard research university, affirming its commitment to improving the quality of teaching and research.
This MOU establishes practical cooperation between the two parties, including exchange and internship programs in Canada for students, faculty and staff of the University. In addition, the two parties will develop advanced teaching programs, cooperate in scientific research and publish academic publications, build joint training programs and organize cultural exchange activities, aiming to improve training capacity and technology transfer.
