This event demonstrates the commitment to building a strong semiconductor ecosystem, aiming to make Vietnam an attractive destination in this strategic industry. VSIC will conduct activities, such as in-depth semiconductor training, connecting domestic and foreign technology partners, and providing total solutions for the semiconductor industry.

Speaking at the Ceremony, Deputy Minister of Finance Nguyen Duc Tam highly appreciated the cooperation between NIC and partners in developing the semiconductor industry ecosystem. He emphasized that the semiconductor industry is growing strongly, affecting many areas from consumer electronics to complex industrial systems. Since 2001, the industry has had an average growth rate of 14% per year, with revenue reaching nearly 600 billion USD in 2023 and forecast to reach 1,000 billion USD in 2030.

VSIC Space will be a place to gather resources, create an ideal environment for training high-quality human resources and promote startups in the semiconductor field. At the same time, this is also considered an important step in the roadmap for Vietnam to participate more deeply in the global semiconductor value chain, with the goal of becoming a center of technology and innovation in the region.
