Chairman of the Council of Members of Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN), Dang Hoang An, directed at the first meeting of the Steering Committee to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on science, technology development, innovation and digitalization.

He emphasized that digital transformation is an inevitable trend and must be implemented comprehensively in all areas of EVN, from operations to customer service. The Group has built a Digital Transformation Strategy for the period of 2021-2025 with a vision to 2030, aiming to modernize management processes and improve efficiency through the application of digital technology systems, such as resource management, infrastructure control and monitoring, and artificial intelligence.
To achieve the goal of development and integration, EVN pays special attention to scientific research and technology development. Dong Anh Electrical Equipment Corporation has made significant progress in the production of 500 kV transformers, with support from the Ministry of Science and Technology.
This success has opened up many opportunities for improving the capacity of designing and manufacturing specialized electrical products. Other units, such as the Central Power Corporation, have also applied advanced technologies to rooftop solar power monitoring and control systems, helping to improve the quality of electricity.
