Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Dong Van Thanh - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Hau Giang province acknowledged the efforts of the collective and individuals of Hau Giang Biomass Energy Joint Stock Company who have worked hard and overcome difficulties to officially put the Factory into operation. This is a project that will contribute to increasing budget revenue, creating jobs and contributing to the socio-economic development of the province. In addition, by using raw materials from rice husks, it will reduce greenhouse gas emissions, promoting the development of a circular economy.

The Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested investors to effectively operate the project and capital sources; use many local labor sources; and contribute to the local budget. At the same time, continue to research and survey to propose investing in more biomass projects in the province to effectively exploit the potential of solar radiation.

With a sense of social responsibility and a desire to share with the community, PECC2 and erex have donated 14 gratitude houses to Long My town and Long My district, contributing to building sustainable homes for the people here.

Also in the program, Mr. Dong Van Thanh - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Hau Giang province, Mr. Honna Hitoshi - Chairman and General Director of erex Joint Stock Company and Mr. Nguyen Chon Hung - Chairman of the Board of Directors of PECC2 planted and presented souvenir trees to Hau Giang Biomass Power Plant.
