Nearly 5 months after the Politburo issued Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on the development of science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, on May 20, 2025, the Information System for monitoring and evaluating the implementation of the resolution officially went into operation on the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Information Portal through the KPI Index (strategy, operations). This is a concrete step demonstrating the determination of the entire political system in transforming policies and resolutions into practical actions, innovating leadership and management methods towards modernization, dataization and transparency in the implementation process.

Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo clearly identifies the development of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation as the main driving forces for the country's rapid and sustainable development. With its profound implications, the resolution requires the synchronization and determination of the entire political system from the central to local levels, ministries, branches and implementing units. To realize this vision, there needs to be a comprehensive and transparent monitoring and evaluation mechanism capable of updating data in real time and supporting in-depth analysis, thereby helping the leadership make accurate and timely decisions during the implementation process.

In that context, under the direction of the Central Steering Committee, the Party Central Office - the Standing Office of the Steering Committee has presided over and coordinated with relevant units to build and operate the Information System for monitoring and evaluating the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW. This system plays a key role, connecting data through a multi-layered set of indicators including strategic and operational indicators, forming a comprehensive and objective measurement framework for the progress and results of task implementation. At the same time, the system also provides intuitive and flexible dashboards so that leaders at all levels can have an overall and detailed view, quickly detect bottlenecks, assess risks, thereby issuing early warnings and adjusting policies flexibly and appropriately to reality.
