In the recent years, Can Tho has taken the lead in promoting this ecosystem, issuing many support programs and plans, notably Plan No. 135/KH-UBND from 2021 to 2025, to contribute to the implementation of the government's policies on promoting national innovation. The local ecosystem has made many strides, currently with 23 participating organizations and enterprises, many co-working spaces and demonstration activities, commercialization of startup products, helping Can Tho's creative products to be increasingly appreciated domestically and towards the international market.

The forum is also an opportunity to summarize the achievements, evaluate the development process, and promote the connection of components of the innovation and technology ecosystem in Can Tho and other provinces nationwide. During the event, the Department of Science and Technology launched the Can Tho Technology Exchange and the 2025 innovation and startup competition in the high-tech agriculture sector, aiming to stimulate research and technology development activities, and link scientific activities and production and business of local enterprises and the Mekong Delta region. In addition, the center to support this ecosystem is also in the process of being established, aiming to create a focal center to promote connection and resource exploitation.

Speaking at the forum, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc He emphasized that Can Tho has demonstrated efforts and positive results in developing a creative startup ecosystem, contributing to building a solid foundation to become an innovation center of the Mekong Delta region by 2030. These achievements clearly demonstrate the locality's determination in promoting sustainable development, creating the premise for great successes in the future.
