In Nghia Hung commune, Lang Giang district, digital transformation has penetrated every aspect of life, such as pensions transferred to accounts, village information updated quickly and easily via Zalo. Thanks to the community digital technology team, nearly 150 households in the village have become accustomed to using smartphones to transact, look up information and conveniently handle administrative procedures.

Digital transformation models in Bac Giang also help people, like Ms. Vu Thi Men, find jobs through online transactions and popular cashless payments at markets and shopping malls, bringing convenience and speed. The province has risen strongly in the national digital transformation rankings, continuously ranking in the top 10-15 provinces, leading in e-government construction and ranking 5th in readiness for information technology application. This result is clearly shown through the administrative reform and digital economic development indicators, in which the information technology industry achieves large revenue.

To achieve this, Bac Giang issued Resolution No. 111/NQ-TU on digital transformation from 2021-2025, with a vision to 2030, with the goal of entering the top 10 nationwide. The province has allocated at least 2% of its regular budget for digital investment, and boldly invested more than VND 1,600 billion in digital infrastructure from 2021-2025. Thanks to that, Bac Giang has overcome initial difficulties in infrastructure and awareness, becoming a typical example of a comprehensive digital transformation strategy and the determination of the government in promoting the local digital age.
