Discussing solutions for energy technology development

In the afternoon of June 25, Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade presided and coordinated with the Department of Innovation (Ministry of Science and Technology) to open the Vietnam Energy Transition Forum 2025, a key activity within the framework of the Hanoi International Exhibition on Energy and Environmental Technology (Entech Hanoi 2025).

At the forum, there were more than 250 delegates, representatives of departments, ministries, branches, institutes, schools, organizations, enterprises, and etc. operating in the fields of energy industry, environment.
The forum aims to promote the development of renewable energy technology, enhance the technology absorption capacity of Vietnamese enterprises and support the implementation of net-zero emission targets according to Vietnam's commitment at the United Nations Climate Change Summit.
In his opening speech, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade Nguyen Dinh Thang said that Vietnam is currently facing increasing energy demand, especially in the context of strong economic development and the goal of becoming a high-income country by 2045.
