The delegation from Can Tho City visited the plant to observe the filming of the waste-to-energy incineration process.

Typically, the Can Tho Solid Waste Treatment Plant, invested in and put into operation since 2018 by EB Energy Co., Ltd. - China, currently employs approximately 120 people, including 8 foreign nationals working under work permits issued by the Department of Internal Affairs of Can Tho City. During its operation, the plant has welcomed 480 groups, with a total of 5,361 visitors who came to tour and learn about its waste-to-energy incineration technology. 

The Can Tho Solid Waste Treatment Plant covers an area of ​​5.33 hectares in Truong Xuan commune (Can Tho City), with a total investment of 1,057 billion VND and a capacity to process and generate electricity from incineration exceeding 400 tons of waste per day. The plant is permitted to connect to the grid at the 110kVA/22kV Thoi Lai substation with a capacity of 7.5MW/h.
