In the afternoon of January 20, 2021, Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology established an Advisory Council to determine the city-level science and technology task to perform in 2021 for engineering technology.

That is the conclusion drawn from the results of an independent national project for the period of 2016-2020 on the research, calculation of neutron characteristics, hydrothermal and safety analysis of nuclear reactors research for the Nuclear Science and Technology Center (DTĐL.CN-50/15). The project is implemented by Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Nhi Dien (VINATOM).
