Director of Information and Communications Department Lam Dinh Thang said that Ho Chi Minh City is aiming to develop based on the foundation of science, technology and innovation. Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo is considered a key factor for the city's breakthrough development. After this Resolution was issued, Ho Chi Minh City leaders requested relevant units to focus, urgently and resolutely implement the contents of the Resolution.
The semiconductor industry is identified as a strategic sector, playing an important role in the 4.0 Industrial Revolution, laying the foundation for the development of many high-tech industries, such as artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT). With Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW and the semiconductor industry development strategy to 2030, vision 2050, Vietnam is oriented to become an important link in the global supply chain.
In the morning of January 17, 2025, Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology held a meeting of the selection council for organizations and individuals to preside over the city-level science and technology project "Application of artificial intelligence in the management and treatment of hypertension in Can Tho City". MSc. Tran Hoai Phuong - Deputy Director of Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology is Chairman of the council.
On December 23, Lac Hong University inaugurated a semiconductor microcircuit practice room worth over 6.7 billion VND. This is the first semiconductor microcircuit practice and research room in Dong Nai.
