On August 21, 2019, Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology organized a Science and Technology Council to accept the project "Solutions to increase the value of export products of Can Tho city to 2020, vision to 2030.” The study was implementedd by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Quan Minh Nhut, Can Tho Social and Economic Institute is a presiding agency.

As of July 2019, there were 1,234 accredited laboratories nationwide, increased more than double compared to 2012.

Training course on The Innovative Start-up took place from August 16-18 at Cantho Startup and Innovation Hub attracting more than 70 students from different provinces.

On August 16, the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City handed over the certificate of S&T enterprises to HPT Informatics Service Joint Stock Company. This is the 82nd enterprise of Ho Chi Minh City recognized as a science and technology enterprise.

There will be 5 start-up projects of students of Kyungil University (Korea), go to Ho Chi Minh City to participate in connection activities and market development consultancy in Vietnam.

It is not merely a re-appointment of a two-year cycle, since the 2013 National Nuclear Science and Technology Conference has become an open, international academic forum where many of the problems of Vietnam can be discussed and accepted by the leading international experts in the nuclear field.
