Decision No. 16/2026/QD-TTg stipulates the principles, criteria for budget allocation and the proportion of local counterpart funds for the implementation of national target programs in the period 2026-2030.

Lao Cai has actively promoted the application of high technology in agricultural production to shift the crop structure, improve land use efficiency and play an important role in the goals of poverty reduction, sustainable development and adaptation to climate change. By the end of 2017, the area of high-tech agricultural land in the province reached about 1,229.7 hectares, with an average product value of about 229.55 million VND per hectare.
