Phu Yen Cultural and Tourism Week 2018, held from April 25 – May 01, 2018, with over 10 culture, sport and tourism activities, took place in many districts, towns and Tuy Hoa City, attracted tens of thousands of people and visitors.

Responding to World Intellectual Property Day on April 26, 2018, in the morning of April 24, 2018, at the Cuu Long Hotel, Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology collaborated with Department of Intellectual Property of Vietnam to organize a training course on "Managing intellectual property in enterprises" for departments, branches, universities and business representatives in Can Tho city in order to equip the knowledge and skills on intellectual property management of enterprises.

At the beginning of the series of the national trademark week program, 18/4, the Trade Promotion Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade) organized a workshop on "Guide to brand the goods industry". At the workshop, experts presented the basic steps and special notes to build a successful and strong industry brand.

Continuing the series of events in the National Brand Week on April 19, the Trade Promotion Agency (Ministry of Industry and Trade) held the Opening Ceremony of the exhibition "Presentation of Achievements and the results of the 15 years implementation of the national trademark." The exhibition will take place from April 19-21, 2018 at the Exhibition Information Center (No.45 Trang Tien, Hanoi).

With the attention of the Government, in particular, the efforts of the business community, Vietnamese trademark associated with services, high quality goods has been affirmed, created position, improved competitiveness in the integration economy.

On April 12, 2018 in Hanoi, the National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam co-operated with the Vietnamese Women's Association and the Hanoi Department of Science and Technology to hold a workshop on "Female intellectuals and intellectual property tools in innovation, creativity." This is one of the most important and startling activities in the month's World Intellectual Property Day celebration.

Worth mentioning, in 17 samples of animal feed, inspection team found violations of quality, up to 15 samples with the main substance is less than 70%.

According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Luong, Deputy General Director of VTV, the copyright purchase price of foreign television channels has increased sharply, increasing by 30% each year, which because VTVcab has changed a series of international channels. The National Intellectual Property Office f Vietnam (Ministry of Science and Technology) is working closely with relevant agencies and organizations to launch a series of activities to celebrate World Intellectual Property Day (26/4) with the topic of "empowering changes - women with innovation and creativity."
