In recent times, the Vietnam Library Consortium on Science and Technology Information Resources has introduced a rich source of information to the community of researchers, lecturers and students, changing the style of learning and research, contributing to strengthening international integration, and improving the ability to access the Industrial Revolution 4.0 for Vietnamese people.
The Science and Technology Information Resources Library Consortium has been constantly developing and growing, gathering resources from information agencies and libraries nationwide to enhance the capacity to negotiate additional international science and technology information resources and share internal information resources. The activities of the Science and Technology Information Resources Library Consortium (Consortium) have made important contributions to the implementation of the Law on Science and Technology, the Law on Libraries, the Project "Developing science and technology information resources to serve scientific research and technology development to 2025, with a vision to 2030" and the National Digital Transformation Program.
On August 16, 2024, the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) coordinated with the Ben Tre province People's Committee and Can Tho University to organize a scientific workshop on the coconut industry with the theme: "Ben Tre develops green and sustainably towards net zero".
Integrating greenhouse gas inventories into traceability systems will greatly facilitate businesses, increase transparency and accuracy, thereby helping to improve inventory and mitigation capabilities for greenhouse gas emissions.
On August 16, 2024, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology had a working session with the delegation of the Department of Planning and Investment; Bac Ninh province Department of Science and Technology on the procedures for building and establishing the Ho Chi Minh City Innovation Startups Center, along with the process of implementing specific mechanisms and policies for science and technology activities.

In the morning of August 28, speaking at the Ceremony to honor Outstanding Scientific and Technological Intellectuals in 2024, highlighting that every victory of the Vietnamese revolution cannot be achieved without the contribution of intellectuals, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man affirmed that the Party and State always care about and place their trust in the country's intellectuals. Building a strong, comprehensive and sustainably developed intellectual team is the responsibility of the Party, the State, and the entire political and social system.
