In the morning of August 26, 2024, Binh Duong Provincial Delegation led by Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Van Loi had a working session with the Ministry of Information and Communications to discuss the project to establish a concentrated Information Technology (IT) Park in Binh Duong. On behalf of the leaders of the Ministry of Information and Communications, Deputy Minister Pham Duc Long and Deputy Minister Bui Hoang Phuong welcomed and worked with the Delegation. Also attending the meeting, there were representatives of the leaders of a number of functional units under the Ministry of Information and Communications.
In the morning of August 27, at the Vietnam Innovation Hub Building, Da Nang held an important working session with a business delegation from Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. The event opened up opportunities for comprehensive cooperation between Tochigi Prefecture and localities of Vietnam, especially Da Nang City.
In the morning of August 16, in Tuy Hoa City, Phu Yen Province, the Ministry of Health coordinated with the Central Economic Committee and Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee to organize a scientific workshop on "Potential for developing marine medicinal herbs in Vietnam", to assess the potential and propose solutions for developing and exploiting effectively and sustainably marine medicinal resources to serve the work of protecting public health and socio-economic development, contributing to the good implementation of Resolution No. 36-NQ/TW of the 12th Central Executive Committee on the strategy for sustainable development of Vietnam's marine economy to 2030, with a vision to 2045.
On August 30, Youth Science and Technology Development Center (Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union) collaborated with Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade, with the support of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology and Ho Chi Minh City Young Scientists Club will organize the 8th Scientific workshop on "Food Safety and Food Security" in 2024.
On August 14 in Ho Chi Minh City, the Department of High Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology, held a workshop on "Promoting research, development and application of high technology in the Southern region".

On August 14, in Hanoi, the Southern Institute of Social Sciences (Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences) and the National Academy of Public Administration, Ho Chi Minh City Branch, signed a Cooperation Agreement to strengthen resources to better perform the functions and tasks of central agencies in the Southern region in the new context. Many scientists participated.
