Following the success of previous conferences, on June 12, 2024, Can Tho University organized a Conference "Scientific Research Students of Can Tho University" with the participation of leadership representatives of units, lecturers in charge of scientific research of affiliated units, students and instructors.

On June 12, 2024 in Hanoi, the University of Transport Technology organized a workshop "Promoting two-wheeled electric vehicle initiatives in Vietnam" with the participation of managers, scientists from universities, research institutes, businesses, and agencies inside and outside the Transport industry.

On June 16, 2024, Can Tho University held Finalist of the Contest for open potential startup projects among Can Tho University students 2024", with topic “Digital transformation for subtainable development” with companionship of FUNDGO Creative Startup Investment Fund, IVS Limited Company. The competition aims to promote creative capacity, dynamic thinking and bussiness inspiration for pupils, students, thereby forming students' autonomy and startup spirit as well as equipping them with knowledge and skills about startup for students during their time studying at the School.

On June 17, 2024, Binh Dinh Department of Science and Technology, Binh Dinh Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Vietnam Meeting Science Association collaborated with the International Center for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE) to organize a scientific workshop on Innovating household solid waste management in Binh Dinh province.

In the first 6 months of 2024, the City has focused on implementing a number of major tasks: Promulgating 3 key plans, such as the Digital Transformation and Smart Urban Plan; Implementation plan for Project 06; Artificial intelligence application program in 2024.

Ho Chi Minh City Innovation and Startup Award (I-Star) is an annual award organized by Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology under the chairmanship of the City People's Committee. The award not only honors organizations and individuals with outstanding achievements in the field of innovation and startup, but also, to encourage the spirit of creativity and create favorable conditions to improve quality in the community.

After graduating from Can Tho University in information technology, Ms. Le Thi Mai Dinh, 30 years old, in area 6, An Binh ward, Ninh Kieu district, and her friends contributed capital to open a photocopy shop inside the headquarters of People's Committee of An Binh ward. So far, Ms. Mai Dinh's model has brought a good income.
