Strengthening the application of science and technology and developing sustainable agricultural value chains is one of the key tasks, considered the "key" to success of the agricultural sector in the coming time.
The Management Board of Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Agricultural Park has just held a ceremony to announce and launch the Innovation and Startup Competition in the field of high-tech agriculture in 2025.
The article analyzes the current situation and proposes solutions to promote the role of science and technology in Vietnam's productive forces.
In the recent years, Da Nang has promoted the transformation of crop and livestock structure towards organic, ecological and high-tech applications to serve urban and tourism areas. Production linkage methods are promoted to take advantage of local advantages, diversify products, limit risks and increase efficiency and income for people.
Hoa Binh is a province with a large citrus fruit growing area, accounting for about 5% of the country's total area. These fruits bring high income value, from 300 to 450 million VND/ha per year, among the top in the country.

Since implementing Resolution No. 05-NQ/TU dated November 25, 2021 of the Kon Tum Provincial Party Committee, the province's agricultural sector has achieved many positive results.
In the recent years, Quang Ninh province has actively applied high technology to agricultural production, achieving many encouraging results.
The workshop “Solutions to support businesses investing in high-tech agricultural projects and farms; developing a chain of stores for consuming clean agricultural products” was organized by the Ba Ria – Vung Tau Provincial Party Committee, to discuss measures to develop high-tech agriculture in the province.
The pilot model of raising climbing perch combined with rice cultivation in Phuoc Long district, Bac Lieu province, not only improves economic efficiency but also opens up a sustainable development direction for farmers in the transition area.
