On October 13, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City held the opening ceremony of the Week "Innovation and Digital Transformation of Ho Chi Minh City in 2022".

Presentations on developing the strengths of the Mekong Delta, suggesting new development solutions/trends for the region:

Ho Chi Minh City Innovation and Digital Transformation Week 2022 (WHISE 2022) with the theme "Digital transformation - a new driving force for the city's development" took place from October 8-14 with more than 30 events.

The UNPRME Network is an initiative initiated by the United Nations in 2007 with the goal of bringing together higher education institutions in business and management sectors. Up to now, this network has linked more than 800 universities worldwide, including many prestigious universities.

In addition to 111 S&T enterprises granted certificates, there are 700 enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City that are eligible for certification as S&T enterprises.

The Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City is looking for units to register to conduct equipment inspection, X-ray room radiation control, serving appraisal activities and granting licenses to conduct radiation work.

On October 7, 2022, in Nam Dinh, the National Fund for Technological Innovation (Ministry of Science and Technology) and the Department of Science and Technology of Nam Dinh province jointly organized a Workshop "Promoting the credit from the National Fund for Technology Innovation to support enterprises in technology transfer, innovation and perfection”. Mr. Nguyen Dinh Binh - Director of National Technology Innovation Fund (NATIF), Mr. Tran Minh Hoan - Director of Nam Dinh Department of Science and Technology co-chaired the workshop.

The event of the Innovation Startup Festival in the Mekong Delta 2022 - Techfest Mekong 2022, opened at: 8:00 am on October 19, at the Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technology Incubator (Road No. 8, Tra Noc 2 Industrial Park, Phuoc Thoi Ward, O Mon District, Can Tho City).
