MobiFone opening representative office in Myanmar
The local newspapers of Myanmar reported MobiFone has opened a representative office in Yongon, Myanmar.


Commenting on this event, page nzweek.com says that this is a step order to enter quickly into market of MobiFone Myanmar as well as the vision of Vietnamese telecommunications of enterprises for business opportunities in market telecommunications Myanmar.

According Nzweek, Mr. Nguyen Dang Nguyen, deputy general director of MobiFone and President of VNPT Global, said that Myanmar is changing every day, encourage foreign investors invest in various sectors, especially information and communication industry.
Earlier, in August 2012, a delegation of VNPT, led by Mr. Le Ngoc Minh, Deputy General Director of VNPT and President MobiFone had a trip visit 4 days to Myamnar to meet Myanmar counterparts in telecommunications.
