The "hairy" skyscraper
It is a skyscraper with a lot floors like other usual buildings. But it highlights the "feathering" everywhere on its body. Experts say that this strange design might be the future for the building, according to Daily Mail.


The special thin hairs will sway in the wind, especially advantage in height of the building, to convert kinetic energy into electrical energy.
Project called Strawscraper was initiated by the company Belatchew ARKITEKTER . The "hairy" building will be built in downtown Stockholm, Sweden.
According Belatchew ARKITEKTER, the skyscraper will grow following the type of hairy surface "wind farm" to harness wind power for the urban future.

As wind blown is very light, a series of straw grown on the building will sway to generate electricity by piezoelectric technology. As a result, the building could become the "factory" of wind power.
It said BelatchewARKITEKTER  grotesque architecture also has the potential to attract tourists. The dangling feathers but silent and especially color changing light emitted from the building at night.
