We arrived Bao Loc on Tet holiday, in recent years, effectively meeting requirements in difficult markets such as US, Japan, Taiwan etc Oolong tea area in Bao Loc had increased to 4,000 ha, created jobs for local people.

According to Director of Tam Chau tea plantation, thank to good natural conditions, quality of Oolong tea is very pre-eminent and can be compared to Chinese tea products. 

As Mr. Tong said, to be accepted in difficult markets such as US, Japan, Taiwan etc his company built 2 specialized plantations to grow high quality Oolong tea as follows Kim Xuyen, Thanh Tam, Tu Quy, Thuy Ngoc and so on and a modern factory with the area of 5 ha, featured with high technology facilities.

Oolong tea is favored by various countries, thanks to its special effects to health. The tea is semi-naturally fermented which remains its Polyphenol contents – a substance that allows to boost SOD enzyme, helps to reduce risk of cancer. Besides, natural ingredients within Oolong leaves can slow  down aging process, reduce formation of acne scars and wrinkles.

“To acquire a good quality product, Oolong tea is oriented to Intergrated Crop Management (ICM) which is using throughout the world” – according to Mr. Tong.

In tea processing, all stages must be in compliance with temperature as well as duration.
