For rural people, pig breeding is considered to be one of the solutions to accumulate use of leftover source. However, many people still do not know swine manure can be processed into foods for fishes. And that's a way of Mr. Bui Quang Sinh (Quang Tri province).

One of the difficulties of the pig farmers are burdens about industrial foods and waste treatment (pig manure treatment). As for Mr. Bui Quang Sinh, he treated swine manure into foods for fishes.
Mr. Sinh used swine manure to mix yeast biology, the mixture of rice bran, and molasses for 48 hours. The food is fragrant, nutritious, and it becomes a favorite food of fish.
According to Sinh’s calculations, with model of fish breeding if used industrial foods cost about 1.8 million VND / day, while taking foods from fermentation swine manure takes only 150,000-200,000 VND / day. Add a benefit of using processed foods from swine manure under the influence of beneficial bacteria in fermented foods and bio-products that treat environment, pigsties. It will not stink longer; ponds do not need to change water.
With province advantage of a rich agricultural material, Bac Lieu farmers need to consult and apply this approach. This is one of the solutions to contribute to the environmental protection and limit dependence on animal foods, poor quality foods, and efficient use of raw materials in the locality. |
