From May 14 to 18, Department of Science & Technology in the whole country will organize many programs to introduce the results of research and applied technologies in practical production and life, service economic - social development in the locality.

Along with the introduced activities to connect supply and demand, technology transfer, the results of scientific research for the needs of specialized management, production, business, teaching, training, commercialization and etc.

Specifically, a large number of activities will take place in Hanoi, such as workshop on evaluating the results of implementation of the program of rural mountain and improving the efficiency of project implementation support and science and technology transfer applications in the rural mountain areas; award Ta Quang Buu prize; seminar-meeting participants who have patents, technical innovation and improvement, 50 inventions of the "amateur scientists" will be honored.

In Ho Chi Minh city, there will be “a science and technology event to celebrate 40 years of Southern liberation",  exhibition of "Science and Technology achievement in Ho Chi Minh city in 2015," the Contest "Farmer Knowledge and creativity", "upstream history "," Youth with GIS " and etc.

Hai Phong, Nha Trang will hold science and technology conference in the Red River Delta's  provinces and Science and Technology conference in provinces of South Central region - Highlands and the special seminar, such as science and technology for economic - conference development in the localities.

The festival is an occasion to honor scientists and achievements of science and technology, communication and dissemination of scientific knowledge and raise awareness, inspire pride of the Vietnam intellectual, passionate spirit of creative labor of people, especially  Vietnam younger generation in the building and defending the country.
