Da Nang organized the workshop to call for investment in high-tech startup in the locality.

This program was implemented by Vietnam and UK Research and Training Institute under University of Da Nang and along with Da Nang High Tech Park Management Board, funding from British Council and University of Aston (UK).

Mr. Duong Mong Ha, Director of Vietnam and UK Institute for Research and Training acknowledged, though investment of technology applications took place in Vietnam for years, but startup and technology business incubation in the country is still at an early stage.

Except for some technology enterprises started up successfully in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh city, so far the whole country has not recorded any province, city to promote high-tech startup trends and create high-tech business incubators.

In fact, based on Da Nang high-tech zones, local government calls for establishment of policies and active support mechanisms for businesses invested in Da Nang high-tech sectors.
