Director of Department of Market Development and Science and Technology Enterprise Pham Hong Quat spoke at the workshop.

Attending the workshop, there were representatives of Ha Nam provincial departments and agencies, Department of Market Development and Science and Technology Enterprise, Department of Technology Assessment, Appraisal and Examination, Ha Nam Business Association and experts from S - Plan company, Japan.

Mr. Pham Hong Quat, Director of Department of Market Development and Science and Technology Enterprise said the workshop aims to help businesses access, understand and effectively apply new technology equipments that are fit into production to enhance the competitiveness of the product when Vietnam's economy is becoming increasingly integrated with the world economy.

Participants introduced about the contents, such as innovation in building market development strategies of science and technology enterprises; the policies and guiding procedures of the import of used machineries and equipments; opportunities for cooperation between enterprises in the mechanical sector and Japan enterprises; the type of commonly applied equipments and technologies in the world; machinery exhibition for small and medium enterprises in Japan; the program for Vietnam creation and invention, technical solutions, technologies applied in Vietnam.

From the fact above, Mr. Truc said that the enterprises need to implement innovative thinking, management and technologies. The workshop will contribute to the building of the innovation strategies in line with the context and the competitive advantage of local businesses.
