Plastic manholes fight against high tides and collect waste from sources – one of products presents collaboration between research institutes and enterprises.
Attending the workshop, there were Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, Director of IPR Tran Thanh Viet, Director of Frence He Yves Lapierre Institute for Industrial Property, Deputy Director of IPR Le Ngoc Lam, Head of Strategy and International Cooperation Division and more than 50 delegates from universities, research institutes and enterprises of Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam.
Deputy Minister Tran Viet Thanh said that knowledge and innovation plays an important role for economic development today. Therefore, we should continue to promote investment in research and development (R&D), in which there is human resource training with high quality. Currently, the relationship between businesses and universities is always an important topic, especially in the business and research environment.
According to Deputy Minister Tran Viet Thanh, universities, research institutes focused on education, creating new knowledge and technological secrets; enterprises focus on competition in the market for a profit. Accordingly, when conducting cooperation, enterprises look forward to the innovation, new technologies, valuable knowledge and breakthrough solutions. Concurrently, the universities, research institutes wish their students access to practices, hands-on skills.
"Therefore, the investment of both sides should implement appropriately before reaching benefits," Deputy shared.
In the framework of the workshop, participants discussed, and cam up with experiences and solutions with these different conditions and circumstances arising from the activities of individuals and units, enterprises and etc.
