Construction of dragon fruit trademark
Vietnam is actively deploying construction of trademark to increase the value of exports for dragon fruits – a strength fruit of Vietnam, is being exported to many countries.


Dragon fruits are exported to many countries in the world.

From February 8 - 10, the International Fruit and Vegetables Fair (Fruit Logistica 2017) took place at Berlin Exhibition Center (Germany) with thousands of worldwide exhibitors’ attendance. Pair participation, Vietnam has introduced dragon fruit products are grown under the program supported by European Union on the process of cultivation and care to ensure the quality, standard for export to the most difficult markets in the world.

Although Vietnam just introduced a unique specialty is dragon fruit, but Vietnam's stores attracted many visitors. The signing ceremony of cooperation among Vietnam  fruit export businesses and Landgard companies - German leading fruit and vegetable distributors - also taking place within the framework of the fair. This is considered the first step for dragon fruits in particular and Vietnam's fruits in general conquer German difficult market.

Previously, in early 2017, Australia Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources has announced the final report assessing the biosafety requirements for the importation of fresh dragon fruits from Vietnam. Accordingly, Australia Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources has advised the Australian Government allows import of fresh dragon fruits from all the commercial dragon fruit production areas  in Vietnam with the conditions meeting Biosafety. Dragon fruits will quickly be licensed in Australia in the near future.
