Attending the conference, there were leaders including Mr. Nguyen Van Tri, Chairman of the Gerontology Society - Chairman of the Department of Aging, Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy; Mr. Tran Ngoc Nguyen, Director of Can Tho Department of Science and Technology; Mr. Tran Quang Thanh, Director of Can Tho Center of Medical Science and Technology Consultancy Services and representatives from Can Tho University of Science and Technology Association; District Health Centers; Can Tho Ser-Tech Technology Services Company, and etc.
Delivering the opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Minh Vu, Director of Can Tho General Hospital highly appreciated the achievements of Can Tho Center for Medical Technology and Science Consultancy Services. He also expects that in the coming time, the Center staff will improve their strength to make the center more developed.
According to the abstract report of the five-year activities (2011-2016) of the Center, in 5 years putting into operation, the Center has opened 32 training courses with more than 3,000 participants including technicians, Nursing and etc in the provinces of the Mekong Delta. With the goal of continuing education, currently the Center is stably maintaining the specialized teaching courses at district-level hospitals and has achieved certain results. In 2017, the Center will continue to launch teaching activities in the region and neighboring provinces.
On this occasion, the Center awarded Certificates of Merit to the units with excellent achievements in collaboration with the Center for organizing training courses on scientific research including: Phong Dien District Health Center; 120 Tien Giang Military Medical Hospital; Ser-tech Technology and Services Limited Company.
At the end of the conference, the leaders of Can Tho Center for Medical Science and Technology Services expressed their gratitude to leaders of Can Tho General Hospital. Can Tho Department of Science and Technology and other units supported the Center in recent years, collective Center promised to strive further to develop the Center stronger in the future. |
