The Southern young startup scientist club Union.

The forum is part of the program to connect young scientists to develop the S & T market and support the commercialization of products. The purpose of the forum is to create an open, connected, exchange-oriented environment among young scientists; Orient and inspire students; Support to improve the technology and trade of patents and research products; Thereby, contributing to improve the efficiency of scientific research activities and the movement of startup at universities and colleges. The Science and Technology Forum was held five times in the cities, such as Hanoi, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City and Thai Nguyen; And this is the 6th time, this forum is held in Can Tho city.

Coming to the forum, there was attendance of Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Vice Director of CNC Service Center - Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park Management Board, Mr. Truong Hoang Phuong - Deputy Director of Can Tho Department of Science and Technology Department, Mr. Ha Thanh Toan – Head of Can Tho University; Representatives of universities and colleges; Representatives of nursery, businesses, and start-up organizations; Representatives of radio press agencies and more than 300 students from universities and colleges.

Within the framework of the 6th Forum, the Organization Board received the support to establish the of Southern Young Scientist Club Union with the participation of 13 universities and colleges, in which Can Tho University; Ho Chi Minh University of Agriculture and Forestry, Ho Chi Minh University of Technical Education; Hong Bang International University; Sai Gon University of Technology; Hoa Sen University. Its effective linkage and commitment is to establish a network of young start-up scientists; Co-ordinate the implementation of activities promoting the scientific research movement of students, connecting investment resources, community startup support organizations  to promote the commercialization of innovative products, thereby creating supply sources to the domestic technology market.

After the preliminary round of more than 17 applications, the organization Board selected 6 excellent research teams to participate in the creative contest at the forum with the following products: Monitoring and controlling applications in agriculture; travel website integrate with suggestion system; Air monitoring equipment; and etc.

The 6th S & T Forum was held in Can Tho City successfully, the excellent research teams won first, second, third prizes, respectively, air monitoring equipment; travel Website integrate suggestion system and agriculture monitoring and control system.
