Workshop on Vietnam Information Security Day 2017 is in Ho Chi Minh City with the topic of "Smart security in the new connection world".

As usual, Vietnam information security Days this year continue to be held simultaneously in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. In Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam information security Day 2016 was co-organized by Department of Information and Communication and VNISA.

Understanding the importance of information security and safety, Vietnam Information Security Association and Southern Association organized an event on Vietnamese information security Day 2017 with the topic "Smart security in the new connection world."

It will also provide an opportunity for experts, solution providers to present the latest security technology development infrastructure, solutions, products, applications, human source building issues, standardization in information security and also an opportunity to raise awareness and warn about information security and safety in the community.

Main workshop on Vietnam information security Day 2017 in Ho Chi Minh City took place on November 23, 2016, was divided into two main parts:

- In the morning: Report on current situation of Southern information security is presented by VNISA Southern Branch (information based on VNISA survey results). Following main reports of information security from providers‘s solutions, products and services. Finally, exchange among State managers (MIC, Department of Information and Telecoms, VNCERT) and information security experts, topic "Information Security and Challenges for Smart city development."

- In the afternoon: There are 2 sessions: (1) Challenges and protection of network security; (2) Information security and protection of intelligent connection.

Professional contents are provided by rapporteurs are the leading experts in the field of information security, experts from enterprises, IT and information security companies, agencies and enterprises applying information security. This is a presentation of technology issues, practical application solutions, very useful for organizations - businesses are interested in information security.
