Politburo member, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan attended and delivered the opening speech of the event.
With the aim of contributing to the development of Ho Chi Minh City as the leading unit in smarter deployment, bringing Vietnam to the fourth industrial revolution, Smart City 2017 shared its vision and strategies and the smart city building experience of cities in the country and the region, offering smart urban management, planning and development solutions based on new technology platforms, such as IoT, Big Data, AI, SMAC and etc.
The conference focused on three main topics, such as Smart City - Vision of city leaders; Internet of things for smart cities; and smart city's digital service.
In addition, the conference also proposed specific solutions for smart urban construction and development of Ho Chi Minh City, introducing IT solutions to address the issues that City is interested in the city's command center, transportation, security, environment, energy, water supply and drainage, and etc.
Smart City 2017, there were 450 delegates, including top leaders of the Government, Ministries, Departments, branches, leaders of Ho Chi Minh City and big cities are interested in smart urban construction in Vietnam and Asia, leaders of key businesses in the fields of electricity, water, transportation, environment, finance, health care, etc; leaders of enterprises, leading technology corporations in Vietnam and the world. |
