Seoul International Innovation Fair 2017 (SIIF 2017) took place from November 30 to December 3 with the participation of 632 works from more than 30 countries in the world, such as USA, Russia, France, Germany, Japan, Croatia, Vietnam, Thailand, host Korea and etc. The fair was organized by United Nations World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the International Federation of the Creative Association (IFIA).

Vietnam has two innovative works to participate in this exhibition, attracted the attention of the organization Board and visitors. These are "Automatic control and energy optimization for Dung Quat distillery refinery." The study was carried out by Author team Dao Xuan Gio, Nguyen Nhanh, Vuong Ngoc Trai, Phan Minh Thanh, Do Hong Quang, Bui Ta Vu, Nguyen Manh Thinh, Nguyen Minh Canh; "Study design and calculation of equipment for opening and closing large aperture valves for flood prevention projects in Ho Chi Minh City and delta provinces." The study was implemented by research team Truong Dinh Du, Phung Van Ngoc, Ngo Sy Loc.
