Twelve innovative business initiatives in 2017

Center for Social Initiatives Promotion (CSIP) collaborated with IBE, Wellspring Intermediate bilingual high school and Vietnamese Stature Foundation held Social Innovation Competition 2017 (SOIN Challenge 2017). The contest was conducted on the basis of the online social incubator channel (SOIN) and sponsored by Vietnam-Finland Innovation Partnership Program (IPP).

SOIN Challenge 2017 officially started on September 15, 2017 in Hanoi. After 3 months of launching, Organization Board received nearly 150 applications for registration nationwide. Unlike other startup contests, SOIN Challenge paid special attention to the potential for social impact that engagement initiatives could bring.
As a result, there were 6 awards in the category of Unlimited Creativity and 6 prizes of the category of Young Creativity. These awards were given to individuals and organizations that have business initiatives to solve social and environmental problems in Vietnam. |
