Korean partners supported EVN to develop renewable energy

On March 22, in Hanoi, under the witness of Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh and Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Paik Un Gyu, Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) signed two Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the cooperation in building wind power plants, offshore electricity systems and in the electricity sector with South Korea's Electricity Corporation, Doosan Group and Electricity Corporation National power of Korea.

The signing ceremony was held after the talks between Minister of Trade and Industry Tran Tuan Anh and Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Paik Un Gyu on the occasion of the official visit Korea's President Paik Un Gyu to Vietnam from 22 to 24/03/2018.
The two memorandums of understanding signed by EVN with partners are among the 10 documents of businesses of the two countries in the industry and trade ministers witnessed on this occasion.
Specifically, EVN President signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on cooperation in the pilot construction of wind power plants and offshore electricity systems between South Korea and the Korea Heavy Industry and Donstruction of Korea.
Deputy Director of EVN Ngo Son Hai signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in electricity between EVN and Korea National Power Corporation.
