In the morning of March 30, Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology collaborated with the Department of Technology Application and Development to hold a conference "Demonstration activities, connection of international technology supply and demand and advanced science and technology application center conference. Ministry of Science and Technology and Can Tho City People's Committee co-presided the event.

The event consists of three main activities, such as (1) Technology demonstration events focused on the demonstration of commercially viable research results to promote collaboration and transfer among the institution and the enterprise. (2) Seminar introduced new technologies focused on supporting researchers at institutes and universities to introduce research results to enterprises; to support enterprises in presenting technological needs, difficulties and challenges in production to institutes and schools.

Event of demonstration activities, connection of technology supply and demand and Conference on operation of centers for advanced science and technology application in 2018 are implemented to strengthen coordination among MOST and People's Committees of provinces and cities. To direct the scientific and technological activities, support the promotion of applied research, transfer, renewal and connection of technology supply and demand according to local demands in service of socio-economic development and implementation of the strategy of S & T development to 2020.
