According to a report by the Global Social Entrepreneurship Network, the five nations of the United States, Canada, Britain, Singapore, and Israel are successful in combining to solve societal affair issues with the business model of the businesses.
Business ideas come from using waste to produce natural fertilizers, creating job opportunities for unemployed housewives, or innovative education models to develop the potential of children.
These business models are both profitable and have a positive impact on the community. More than 60% of social startups earn profits, achieve 80% growth, and receive positive support from the government. Thanks to the rapid growth and spillover of global social entrepreneurship models, this trend has grown drastically in developed countries.
In Vietnam, although there are many policies to support enterprises when utilizing social resources for business, the number of enterprises following this approach is still less, corporate social responsibility activities belong to big corporations.
