Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Pham Cong Tac delivered speech at STEM Festival 2018.

The STEM Festival 2018 offered the opportunity to practice interesting experiments and challenge the creativity of students to solve the problems of the fourth industrial revolution.

This event is held annually in the framework of Science and Technology Day, organized by Vietnam Science and Technology Day and the STEM Education Alliance, supported by Ministry of Science and Technology.

A series of activities help students "Touch the Industrial Revolution 4.0"

The Fourth Industrial Revolution is deeply affecting all aspects of society and personal life, creating great opportunities and challenges in terms of innovation and technologies. Among the basic standards for assessing future readiness from 4.0 revolution, the elements of human resource development and technological innovation in Vietnam are lower than many countries.

Many technology experts say that if they do not focus on innovation and human resources training, Vietnam will not be able to "jump off" on the 4.0 Revolution. It is therefore necessary to innovate, to innovate education and train immediately in order to help learners "how to learn" throughout life, not just "teach knowledge" and will have to achieve the goals that help children learn how to understand, work and collaborate with others, understand complex issues and solve complex problems, and handle risks.
