In order to convey the message of World Intellectual Property Day 2019 (April 26) "Reaching the Golden Prize: Intellectual Property and Sports" to the wider community, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology and Ton Duc Thang University will coordinate the training "Introduction of intellectual property law, start-up and innovation" and the "Student with Intellectual Property, startup and Innovation" contest. The program was held at Ton Duc Thang University on April 24 and April 25, 2019.
Representing the Office of Intellectual Property Management - Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City, said: "These activities aime at raising awareness for the community, providing more insight into the sports world, exploring ways to that innovation and intellectual property support the development and enjoyment of sports around the world.
It is expected that the contest "Students with Intellectual Property and startup Innovation" will attract more than 200 lecturers and students to learn knowledge of intellectual property, start-up and innovation and sports. Advisory board of the competition consists of experienced experts of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology.
Participants will learn about this content through clips of the World Intellectual Property Day provided by the National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam, outstanding images of Vietnamese sports; intellectual property tools, such as radio and communication contribute to the development of sports; brands, brand contributions help businesses increase profits from sponsorship agreements, licenses and technological products, inventions, industrial designs to help improve sports performance.
At the same time, the organizion Board will carry out intellectual property consultancy activities, support start-up and innovation activities with the participation of representative National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, Ton Duc Thang University and industrial property representatives. |
