This is the European Stroke Foundation's award for stroke units, with the goal of "more and better", to increase the chances of many stroke patients being treated in the right place, at the same time improve the intensive quality of stroke units to help patients recover faster.

In order to achieve this certification, the health facility must organize and establish a standard stroke unit, with multi-disciplinary coordination and meeting individual standards of the European Stroke Organization (ESO). According to the standards of the World Health Organization (WHO), it is also the standard of ESO, the total time from when the patient arrives at the hospital to the completion of everything and the injection of blood-clotting medicine (called the time of the door - needle) should reach less than 60 minutes.
