On August 14, Quang Tri Department of Science and Technology in collaboration with the National Office of Intellectual Property organized a training course on intellectual property rights (IP) implementation. Participating in the Training, there were more than 50 participants who were representatives of departments and sectors related to IPR enforcement in the province; Representative of Economic Department / Infrastructure and Economic Division of districts, towns and cities in the province. Mr. Tran Thiem, Deputy Director of Department of Science and Technology attended the opening of the training course.

At the training course, the trainees listened to lecturers of the NOIP presented on industrial property rights (IP) and IP protection; Overview of IPR enforcement; Premise for the enforcement of IP rights; Conditions for enforcing IP rights; Rights enforcement measures; Guidelines for assessing infringement.

In addition, the trainees discussed and shared practical experiences on IP protection activities from the perspective of state management and problems when applying regulations in the field of IP.

Through the training course, trainees were equipped with basic information about intellectual property in general, industrial property in particular and especially the situation of enforcement of industrial property rights in the country, the system of legal documents on enforcement of intellectual property rights so that they can be applied in reality in the locality.
