For a long time, the problem of counterfeit goods, pirated goods and pirated goods of infringing intellectual property rights has caused thousands of billions of dong in damage every year, adversely affecting both consumers and can reduce the reputation of real products.
To protect themselves and consumers, many manufacturing enterprises have to use anti-counterfeiting stamps, the most common are physical stamps, such as broken stamps, hologram stamps, luminescent stamps, water stamps, thermal stamps, etc can monitor with naked eye or under ultraviolet light.
But then, the status of counterfeit goods continues, consumers still suffer, and Vietnamese businesses - mostly small and medium-sized businesses are trying to build a brand - are just pity because of the increasingly delicate fake status. Even anti-counterfeiting stamps also ... were forged or restored to paste into other products, making consumers unable to panic.
To overcome this limitation, the research team has continued to research a "Anti-counterfeiting authentication process" CheckVN (https://check.net.vn/), ensuring that consumers can verify information that manufacturers and distributors offer, against counterfeiting from the manufacturers themselves. This process was granted a patent number 1-0016036 by the National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam, Ministry of Science and Technology in 2016.
CheckVN is a quick feedback system, including stamps containing two-layer security QR codes, combined with mobile devices with an application installed to access a data center with five independent management databases (the first stamp database contains information about the manufacturer; The second stamp database contains information on manufacturers and suppliers; The comparison database contains information data about each pair of stamp codes, the product database and the authenticated product database).
After the user scans the QR code with a mobile phone, the signal is transferred to the data center to validate the code. The code must match the database in each round to go to the next database - for example, the first layer authentication of a QR code will give information about the tagged product, after scratching the security coating on the stamp layer will compare the second layer of the QR code to see whether the product is provided by that supplier have come from the same manufacturer they mentioned. Therefore, in the end, the system will return results whether the product is genuine or not. |
