This is information shared by Mr. Vu Quang Phong - Director of the Center for Trade and Investment Promotion, Vietnam Co-operative Alliance at the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in implementing the Cooperation Program support Digital transformation, connecting agricultural product consumption for small and medium enterprises, cooperatives, production and business households in the agricultural field in Vietnam.

According to Mr. Phong, in the coming time, the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance will actively implement a number of measures to support cooperatives, promote digital transformation, deploy IT application projects in the field of law management practices, including: Building an application platform for digital transformation in production and business activities; simultaneously deployed to 63 provincial and city alliances, integrated training content, improved information technology and digital transformation skills for cooperative officials nationwide.

Regarding the issue of digital transformation, Mr. Le Manh Hung - Director of the Department of Enterprise Development, Ministry of Planning and Investment - said: In the first 5 months of 2021, the program to support businesses in digital transformation for the period of 2021-2025 of the Ministry of Planning and Investment has received the accompaniment of more than 60 domestic and international partners to raise awareness, consult to assess readiness for digital transformation, advise on a roadmap for digital transformation, training and connection solutions for 5,000 businesses to access the Program. And this cooperation to support digital transformation and connect the consumption of agricultural products in the agricultural sector is an initiative that is very suitable with the Program to support businesses in digital transformation of the Ministry of Planning and Investment which is being implemented.

It is known that this cooperation program to support digital transformation and consumption of agricultural products is organized by the Department of Enterprise Development (AED - under the Ministry of Planning and Investment), the Department of Agricultural Products Processing and Market Development (Agrotrade), Trade and Investment Promotion Center (ITPC-VCA - under the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance) and Grab Vietnam. In the immediate future, the Program aims to promote support for agricultural product consumption through digital platforms in general for localities affected by the Covid-19 epidemic, localities located in social distancing and blockade areas, including testing on Grab's platform.
