Developing national digital transformation human resources
The Ministry of Science and Technology has just issued Decision No. 1495/QD-BKHCN on promulgating a specific implementation plan of the Project "Raising awareness, popularizing skills and developing human resources for national digital transformation to 2025, with orientation to 2030" that the Government promulgated in early 2022.


MOST has a plan to develop human resources to meet national digital transformation requirements. Illustration

The Ministry of Science and Technology aims to create a strong change in the awareness and actions of leaders and cadres, civil servants and public employees to promote digital transformation. Universalizing digital skills for cadres, civil servants and public employees working at the Ministry. At the same time, improve the quality and efficiency of training and develop human resources for digital transformation in science and technology.

Specifically, by 2025, the Ministry of Science and Technology will have 100% of officers, civil servants and public employees annually participate in training, fostering, training and updating knowledge on digital transformation, digital skills, and technology.  All staffs in charge of information technology are annually trained, retrained in digital technology and are evaluated online through the national digital skills assessment and testing system.

Also in the next 3 years, the Ministry of Science and Technology aims to build a digital transformation network to the grassroots level with a staff of regularly trained and updated knowledge and skills as the core for the digital transformation process. At the same time, leaders at all levels are deeply aware of digital transformation to direct the implementation of argument transformation at their agencies, organizations and units.

At the same time, building, developing and connecting domestic and international cooperation networks to train science and technology human resources for digital transformation, transfer, innovation and improvement of technology.
