Over the past years, Vietnam has made drastic changes in mechanisms and policies for innovation. This is reflected in the Global Innovation Index (GII), from 52/141 countries and economies in 2015 to 44/132 in 2021, holding the number one spot in a group of 29 countries  with the same income.

According to Mrs. Le Hoang Uyen Vy, CEO of Do Ventures Fund, innovation is one of the driving forces for the development of the digital economy, especially the digital economy now accounts for about 8% of the national GDP. According to the Government's expectation, by 2030, the digital economy will account for 30% of national GDP.

Large enterprises also gradually realize the important role of innovation and investment and application of new ideas in their operations. Innovative ideas and solutions not only help businesses realize their top goal of optimizing profits in a new way, but also a way for businesses to keep up with new needs and trends constantly changing market.
