Speaking at the opening of the National Digital Transformation Day program 2022 in the morning of October 10, Minister of Information and Communications, Vice Chairman of the National Digital Transformation Committee Nguyen Manh Hung affirmed, The first change is awareness. Digital transformation is a long and comprehensive journey. Digital transformation can only be successful if the people are the center and the participation of the whole people is mobilized.

Therefore, National Digital Transformation Day is an opportunity to raise awareness of the whole people about the meaning, role and importance of digital transformation in the life of each person in particular, with economic development, culture, society of the country in general.

The Ministry of Information and Communications has directed the selection, evaluation and publication of 16 groups of digital platforms to serve people's needs. A network of community of digital technology groups has been established nationwide. More than 100,000 turns of cadres, civil servants and employees in state agencies from central to commune level have received basic training in digital transformation. More than 5 million people can access and disseminate basic digital skills through an open online learning platform.

At the National Digital Transformation Day, 5 categories of Viet Solutions 2022 awards were awarded, including: Excellent digital transformation problems and solutions for ministries and sectors; Excellent local digital conversion problems and solutions; Excellent digital transformation problems and solutions for businesses; Excellent digital transformation problems and solutions for the community; and awards of honoring digital transformation solutions of the year.

October 10 every year has been chosen by the Prime Minister as the National Digital Transformation Day, in Decision No. 505 on April 22. The organization of the annual National Digital Transformation Day will help speed up the implementation of national digital transformation tasks, effectively implementing the National Digital Transformation Program to 2025, with orientation to 2030.
