This research activity is part of the project "Developing high technology to manufacture fast, easy-to-use analytical equipment and strengthen human resources for food safety control and environmental quality", by The University of Natural Sciences (Hanoi National University) and the University of Tokyo (Japan) will implement in the next 5 years with a budget of 5 million USD funded by the Japanese Government.
The objective of the Project is to provide long-term technical assistance and capacity building to Vietnam on technical issues related to air, water, soil and sediment quality monitoring; using rapid field analysis and monitoring techniques; and develop fast, portable, highly reliable measuring instruments etc.
In which, “successfully fabricated modern hand-held high-precision analytical instruments based on micro/nano fluidics technology to monitor the quality of soil, water, and sediment environment and food safety control is one of the most important goals that both sides want to achieve”, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Noi, Director of the Key Laboratory of Advanced Materials Applied in Green Development (University of Natural Sciences) and project leader on the Vietnamese side, said at a meeting between Vietnam National University, Hanoi and the University of Tokyo, Japan last week. |
