The energy and environmental sectors are currently facing many difficulties and challenges in meeting the needs of socio-economic development. The application of science and technology to effectively use traditional energy sources, transfer to use new energy sources, protect the environment, and ensure sustainable development goals has become more and more necessary.

Firmly grasping that spirit, the program "Energy and Environment Technology Forum 2023" was organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology in collaboration with Hanoi City with the goal of recommending research, transfer and mastery energy and environmental technology; create an environment, support businesses to improve energy efficiency and promote exchanges between the Government and businesses on policies to attract investment in the field of energy and environment.

With the topic "New technology trends and recommendations on research, transfer and mastery of energy and environment technology", the program has attracted the attention and participation of hundreds of individuals, organizations and individuals, communication agencies.

Attending the program, there were Mr. Tran Van Tung, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology; Mr. Ta Dinh Thi, Vice Chairman of the Science, Technology and Environment Committee of the National Assembly; Mr. Nguyen Duc Hoang, Deputy Director of Department of Technology Application and Development - Ministry of Science and Technology; Mr. Trinh Quoc Vu, Deputy Director of the Department of Energy Conservation and Sustainable Development - Ministry of Industry and Trade; Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thang, Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade together with representatives of domestic and foreign enterprises, agencies and units will have a presentation on contents related to new technology trends and recommendations on environmental technology research and transfer.
